The Tarrazu Province, where this coffee is from, has the reputation for producing the most desirable coffee beans in all of Costa Rica.
Finca La Pastora is located in Santa Maria de Tota region of Tarazu. The farm has been in the same family for over 60 years. This is one of the more innovative producers in the area with concern for environmental imapct, and they only pick the ripest fruits which are known as the Sangra de Toro (Bulls blood) colored cherries.
